We love getting to spend time on the river. We have certified guides who have been trained on all three of the rivers we raft on. And they LOVE to lead our students on fun and meaningful trips like this one. Specifically, the Umpqua is a slower paced river that allows ample opportunities for the youth to do LOTS of finishing and float the river. This quick overnight trip is fun river-pecked! If your youth is looking to a relaxed and stress free trip this is the trip for them.
“The Umpqua rafting trip…where do I start? It’s a three day trip on the Umpqua river, full of fishing, lunch on the riverbanks, camping just nearby, ending each day with a campfire, s’mores and random funny stories. I enjoyed it specifically because I really got to know some high schoolers as I was just going into 9th grade. I thought that the rafting itself was also quite awesome, filled with horrible puns and riddles. I still haven’t solved one of them, thanks Connor! Overall I loved it and I would definitely go again!” – Dylan Fritz (Freshman @ Sheldon)
Trip: July 5th – 7th
