“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” (James 3:17-18) Lately I’ve felt like I’m kind of in a lull with my faith and so I’m struggling to get back on track towards having a stronger faith. I haven’t been as diligent in my devotionals or as excited for church and youth group as I want to be. These verses stood out to me because I need to be praying for God to give me wisdom and strength so that my faith will grow stronger and more whole. Having this wisdom and strength will be especially comforting because I’ll be moving away from everything I know soon, and I need to stay close to God through all of the changes and anything that might make me nervous or scared. All I really need is God and God never leaves us. He’s always carrying us through everything life may bring.
I have been learning about relationships, and what God says about them. I have been learning to slow down and to understand that He has a plan. In Genesis 2 I get to see God start relationships with Adam and Eve, and that marriage is for one person. It is meant to be pure and for forever. God designed relationships to last.
