Daily Devotions from our teens: Ephesians 4:6 and 4:28

 Ephesians 4:6 & 28

“6 – and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through us.

28 – If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.”

These two verses are really great. First off, verse 6 was just another great reminder of how good and abundant God is. And I especially like how it says “living through us.” That makes me think he is flowing brought my veins and he is pumping my heart. God is so good and he is living in us!

Also, verse 28 spoke to me. Although it seems like the passage is directly referring to thieves, it is referring to all sinners in my mind. So if you are a thief quit stealing. If you are a luster quit lusting. Abuser quit abusing. The list goes on. Instead of using our bodies to sin, use them to glorify God in every possible way. Very encouraging stuff today!
